Esistono prove schiaccianti che le esperienze traumatiche hanno conseguenze anche nei Disturbi Alimentari. Esse, infatti, lasciano tracce nella nostra mente e nel nostro corpo. Esperienze traumatiche come l’abuso sessuale, fisico ed emotivo hanno un impatto negativo sulle nostre capacità di relazionarci e fidarci delle altre persone, ma anche sul funzionamento neurobiologico della nostra mente.
Influenzano anche il nostro sistema immunitario (Van Der Kolk, 2014). Quindi, le esperienze traumatiche rendono la gestione delle emozioni, sia positive che negative, piuttosto impegnativa.
I Disturbi alimentari sono definiti come complesse condizioni psicologico-mediche caratterizzate da modelli alimentari inappropriati abbastanza gravi da danneggiare potenzialmente la salute o minacciare la vita (American Psychiatric Association [APA], 2013).
L’eziologia dei Disturbi alimentari è complessa e ancora poco chiara, e comprende fattori genetici, comportamentali e ambientali. Inoltre, un ampio corpo di letteratura è stato fortemente influenzato dal presupposto che le esperienze traumatiche o avverse che si verificano nell’infanzia, nell’adolescenza e nell’età adulta, sono fortemente legate alla gravità dei sintomi del disturbo alimentare (Armour et al., 2016; Guillaume et al., 2016; Palmisano, Innamorati, & Vanderlinden, 2016; Vanderlinden, Vandereycken & Claes, 2007).
In particolare le storie di abuso sessuale infantile (CSA), abuso fisico infantile (CPA), e abuso emotivo infantile (CEA), sono state studiate intensamente e sono considerate fattori di rischio aspecifici per lo sviluppo di Disturbi alimentari (Racine & Wildes, 2015; Sanci et al., 2008).
Tuttavia, un numero molto limitato di studi ha indagato il ruolo della trascuratezza emotiva infantile (CEN) e della trascuratezza fisica infantile (CPN) nel predisporre alle EDs (Jaite et al., 2012; Kong & Bernstein, 2009).
Questo tipo di trauma è spesso “nascosto” e può includere eventi apparentemente piccoli, ma dolorosi, come lutti e perdite, lesioni da attaccamento e/o esperienze di bullismo.
Tuttavia, nonostante questi dati, la comprensione del meccanismo che collega il trauma infantile e l’eziologia dei Disturbi alimentari rimane complessa e non è ben compresa.
Di conseguenza, diversi autori hanno cercato di rivelare i possibili meccanismi attraverso i quali le esperienze traumatiche portano allo sviluppo di Disturbi alimentari, concentrando il loro interesse principalmente nel campo delle esperienze dissociative (Pettinati et al., 1985; Vanderlinden & Vandereycken, 1993) e, più recentemente, sull’attaccamento.
Il workshop ti permetterà di apprendere in modo concreto la relazione tra esperienze traumatiche e sviluppo di disturbi alimentari, fornendoti tecniche e competenze specifiche ed evidence-based per la valutazione e il trattamento sia delle esperienze traumatiche che dei sintomi dissociativi nei disturbi alimentari.
La prima parte del workshop si concentrerà sulla questione più frequentemente discussa nel campo dei disturbi alimentari: la possibile relazione tra gravi esperienze traumatiche e lo sviluppo di un disturbo alimentare. Durante il workshop:

Imparerai alcune abilità e metodi specifici per la valutazione e il trattamento sia delle esperienze traumatiche che dei sintomi dissociativi nei disturbi alimentari. Durante il workshop:

Ebbene, entro 90 giorni dalla data di scadenza del Quiz ECM dobbiamo comunicare i dati ad AGENAS. A sua volta AGENAS trasmetterà i dati al COGEAPS e solo a quel punto le risulteranno accreditati.
Mediamente, consigliamo quindi di calcolare circa 4 mesi dalla data di scadenza del Quiz ECM. Precisiamo, in ogni caso, che l’Attestato di acquisizione ECM del corso a cui ha partecipato, vale come certificazione dei crediti acquisiti.
